How to Take Colloidal Silver
Taking colloidal silver means consuming trace amounts of silver suspended in demineralized water. The Food and Drug Administration has issued a statement claiming that colloidal silver in large doses is not safe, nor is it effective in treating any type of disease or condition. Small amounts are not considered to be harmful. Many people take colloidal silver in small amounts as a mineral supplement, and still others are convinced that it contains antibiotic properties.
You will need a tablespoon and a positive attitude to take colloidal silver
Measure out 1 tbsp. of colloidal silver, and take it orally once per day for three days at a time. This amount has not been found to be harmful and is what most people consume when taking it as a nutritional supplement.
Swish the solution around your mouth and under the tongue before swallowing. This will hasten the absorption of silver into the bloodstream.
Wait for three days for the effects to be felt. After three days, the silver will start to suffocate pathogens in the body, which will die and then be eliminated through urine and bowel movements.
Consult with an expert. Most alternative or Eastern medicine doctors will be able to recommend an expert for you, if they are not one themselves. If you want to take larger doses of colloidal silver in order to treat a condition, it is best to consult with an expert so that you can be sure you are not taking too much of it. Side effects from high dosages can include kidney damage, seizures and bluish-gray skin.
Alternate your dosages with three days on, then three days off. This will cut down on the cost of the silver (it is expensive) and also keep your body from building up a resistance to it.
